*Lemon Basil Tart**

 

 Ingredients:

– 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
– ½ cup powdered sugar
– ½ cup cold butter, cubed
– 1 egg yolk
– 2 tbsp cold water
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 3 large eggs
– ½ cup fresh lemon juice
– 1 tbsp grated lemon zest
– ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
– Powdered sugar for dusting

1. **Prepare the crust:**
– Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
– In a food processor, pulse the flour and powdered sugar to combine.
– Add the cold butter and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
– Add the egg yolk and cold water, pulsing until the dough comes together.
– Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 15-20 minutes, until lightly golden.

2. **Prepare the filling:**
– In a bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until smooth.
– Stir in the lemon juice, zest, and chopped basil.
– Pour the filling into the pre-baked tart crust.

3. **Bake the tart:**
– Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the filling is set.
– Let the tart cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
