Hearty Beef and Macaroni Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- Parmesan cheese, grated (for serving)

- Brown the Beef:
- In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

- Stir in the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Add Liquids and Simmer:
- Pour in the beef broth, water, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil.

- Cook the Macaroni:
- Add the elbow macaroni to the pot and continue to simmer until the pasta is tender, about 10-12 minutes.
