Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb frozen meatballs
2 cups uncooked penne or rotini pasta
2 1/2 cups marinara sauce
2 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In the prepared baking dish, add frozen meatballs, uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top. Return to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
