Crispy Cauliflower Recipe
Cauliflower is a delicious and healthy vegetable that can be prepared in many different ways, including fried. In this recipe I’ll show you how to make crispy cauliflower without using too much oil. The result is a crispy exterior and a tender interior.
Ingredients:
- 1 medium head of cauliflower
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
Instructions:
- Wash the cauliflower well and cut it into small florets.2. Blanch the cauliflower in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and allow to cool completely.
- Make the secret cauliflower batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
4.Add flour, cornstarch, baking powder, coriander, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper to the egg-milk mixture and mix well.

- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, turmeric, salt and pepper.
- Dip the cauliflower florets in the egg and milk mixture and then in the flour mixture.7. Heat a large amount of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides, stirring constantly.
9.Serve the crispy cauliflower hot with tahini sauce or your favorite sauce.
Tips:
- For crispier cauliflower, use a cornstarch mixture instead of just flour. To make a cornstarch mixture, stir 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water until smooth. Add the cornstarch mixture to the egg and milk mixture and stir until well combined.
- If you want to reduce oil consumption, you can also cook the cauliflower in a deep fryer instead of a frying pan.Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cook the cauliflower florets for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
