Ingredients:

  • 4 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and chopped
  • Optional: chopped green onions or chives for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease a baking dish with a little butter or cooking spray.
  2. Mix Corn Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine corn, cream cheese, melted butter, milk, and heavy cream. Stir until the cream cheese is well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
    • Add half of the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Bake:

    • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
