Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup bell peppers, finely chopped (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Olive oil or butter for greasing

Step 1: Prepare the Bowls

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease small oven-safe bowls or ramekins with olive oil or butter.
  3. Divide the chickpeas evenly among the bowls.

Step 2: Add Egg Yolks

  1. Carefully place an egg yolk in the center of each bowl on top of the chickpeas.

Step 3: Season and Add Optional Ingredients

  1. Season each bowl with salt and pepper to taste.
