Ingredients:

  • For the Cream Cheese Layer:
    • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 cups heavy cream, whipped
  • For the Graham Cracker Layer:
    • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Banana Layer:
    • 3-4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • For the Topping:
    • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
    • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
    • Powdered sugar for dusting
    • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Graham Cracker Base:
    • Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a square or rectangular dish to form a firm base.
    • Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.
  2. Make the Cream Cheese Filling:
    • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
    • Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
    • Spread half of this mixture over the chilled graham cracker base.
  3. Add the Banana Layer:
    • Place a layer of sliced bananas over the cream cheese filling.
  4. Repeat Layers:
    • Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the bananas.
    • Add another layer of sliced bananas.
  5. Chill:
    • Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to firm up.
  6. Finish with Toppings:
    • Before serving, drizzle caramel sauce over the top layer of bananas.
    • Sprinkle chopped pecans and dust with powdered sugar.
    • Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  7. Serve:
    • Cut into squares and serve chilled.
