Recipe for Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients:

Instructions:
- Prepare the Cake:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan or two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a large bowl, whisk together oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

- If using two pans, place one cake layer on a serving plate, spread frosting over the top, then top with the second cake layer.
- Spread the frosting over the top and sides of the cake.
- Sprinkle chopped almonds over the top.
