Recipe for Caramel Pecan Cheesecake Pie
Ingredients:
- For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- For the Cheesecake Layer:

- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- For the Pecan Layer:
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2/3 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, roughly chopped
- For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
- Caramel sauce for drizzling
- Extra pecans for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake in preheated oven for 7 minutes. Remove and cool.
- Make the Cheesecake Layer:
- Beat the cream cheese with sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth and creamy.
- Spread over the cooled crust.
- Return to the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove and let cool slightly.
- Prepare the Pecan Layer:
- In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour over the baked cheesecake layer.
- Bake the Pie:
- Return the pie to the oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Let the pie cool completely before topping.
- Make the Whipped Cream:
- Whip the heavy cream with confectioners’ sugar until soft peaks form.
- Serve:
- Pipe or dollop whipped cream around the edges of the cooled pie.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and garnish with extra pecans before serving.
