• Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
• Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
4. Prepare the Chocolate Coating:
• In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil.
• Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
5. Coat the Cookies:
• Dip each cooled cookie into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s well-coated.
• Place the coated cookies on a sheet of wax paper to set.
6. Set and Serve:
• Allow the chocolate coating to harden completely before serving. This can be expedited by placing the cookies in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
Tips:
• You can use different types of nuts or even add dried fruits to the cookie dough for variety.
• For extra crunch, you can toast the nuts before adding them to the dough.
• Store the cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
