No-Bake Cheesecake
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Instructions:
- Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar until well mixed.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan or a pie dish. Set aside.
- Make the Cheesecake Filling:
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well incorporated.
- Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is smooth and even.
- Assemble the Dessert:
- Spoon the cheesecake filling over the crust, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
- If desired, add another layer of crushed graham crackers on top for extra texture.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until the cheesecake sets.
- Serve:
- Once set, slice and serve chilled. Optionally, you can garnish with more whipped cream or fresh fruit on top.
