My secret dessert recipe
Ingredients
3 slices of castella or sponge cake
250 g cream cheese;
3 egg yolks;

160 g cream;
2 tablespoons milk;
1 teaspoon lemon juice;
30 g flour;
3 egg white;

45g sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 160°C (320F).
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg yolk, cream, milk, lemon juice and flour with a mixer.

Separately beat the egg whites until fluffy, add the white sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
Add the egg whites to the cream cheese dough.
Crumble the castella sponge cake and press it into the bottom of an 8-inch (20 cm) springform pan lined with baking paper.Pour the cheese mixture over the base.
Wrap the bottom of the pot with aluminum foil and place it in a tray filled with hot water.
Bake for 1 hour. Allow to cool completely and serve decorated with lemon slices and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
