 Mexican Tortilla Molinetes

  • 8-10 inch flour burrito tortillas
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 package 8 ounce cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream 4 ounces
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 4.5 ounce can chopped black olives (drained)
  • 1 chopped green onion

 INSTRUCTIONS

 

  1. Remove tortillas from package. Put aside.2. Place salsa, cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning in a bowl. Stir to mix.
  2. Add the cheddar cheese, drained black olives and chopped green onions.4. Using a rubber spatula, combine the remaining ingredients with the original ingredients. Measure out ⅓ cup of the mixture and divide it into flour tortillas. (One tortilla at a time). Starting at one end,  roll  each filled tortilla tightly.5. Place  on a tray, seam side down. Cover the tray with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

6.Cut each filled tortilla into 1-inch pieces. Serve with individual ramekins filled with sauce.
