Hawaiian Pizza: A Tropical Delight
Ingredients:
1 (13.8 oz) package pizza dough (Pillsbury, refrigerated section)
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
1/2 cup cooked ham, sliced
Dried oregano, for sprinkling (optional)
1 jalapeño, thinly sliced (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray or grease a nonstick cookie sheet.
Prepare the Dough: Unroll the pizza dough onto the prepared pan, starting from the center and pressing it into a 15×10-inch rectangle.
Add the Sauce: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges for the crust.
Top It Off: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then layer on the pineapple chunks and sliced ham. If desired, add the thinly sliced jalapeño for a spicy kick. Finish with a sprinkle of dried oregano, if you like.
Bake: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Once done, remove the pizza from the oven, slice it up, and enjoy your delicious Hawaiian pizza!
