Gourmet Cheese Beef Drumstick
# Ingredients:
1 large baguette
1 pound ribeye, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Salt and to taste
8 slices of protolon cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon horseradish
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 175°C.
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add steak slices and fry until brown. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining olive oil, onion, pepper and garlic to the same pan. Cook until the vegetables are done. Add salt and pepper.
Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. Pull it up and down a little to make room for the filling.
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, horseradish and Worcestershire sauce. Share this mixture on both sides of the bread.
Place the chicken, cooked vegetables and protolon cheese on the last half of the bread. Place the first piece of bread on top.
Wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is cooked.
Slice and serve hot.
