Ingredients:

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
– 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 1 large tomato, diced
– 3 green onions, chopped

Instructions:

 

1. **Preheat the Oven:**
– Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. **Prepare the Chicken:**
– Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. **Cook the Chicken:**
– Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

4. **Bake the Chicken:**
– Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

5. **Add Toppings:**
– Remove the skillet from the oven. Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the chicken breasts, then top with shredded cheese.

6. **Melt the Cheese:**
– Return the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. **Garnish and Serve:**
– Once out of the oven, top the chicken with diced tomatoes and chopped green onions.
– Serve immediately, paired with your choice of sides like a salad, rice, or vegetables.
