Ingredients:

– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 large onion, chopped
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 4 cups chicken broth
– 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
– 2 cans (15 ounces each) white beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 can (4 ounces) diced green chilies
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 cup frozen corn
– 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– Juice of 1 lime
– Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
– Tortilla chips or strips (for serving)

1. **Sauté Onion and Garlic:**
In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

2. **Add Broth and Chicken:**
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the shredded or diced chicken, white beans, diced green chilies, ground cumin, dried oregano, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

3. **Simmer:**
Let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

4. **Add Corn and Cream:**
Stir in the frozen corn and continue to simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Then, add the heavy cream or half-and-half and sour cream. Stir until well combined and heated through.

5. **Add Lime Juice:**
Stir in the juice of one lime for a fresh, tangy flavor.
