“Creamy Mustard Lobster Tails”

Ingredients:

  • 2 lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
  • Parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Using kitchen shears, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise. Carefully pull apart the shells and lift the tail meat, laying it on top of the shells.
  2. Season the Lobster:
    • Place the lobster tails on a baking tray. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and brush over the meat. Season with salt and pepper.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly browned.
  3. Make the Mustard Sauce:
    • While the lobster bakes, heat the remaining butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and chopped shallot. Sauté until the shallot is translucent.
    • Deglaze the pan with white wine and let it reduce slightly.
    • Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and whole grain mustard. Cook until the sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
    • Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
  4. Serve:
    • Once the lobster is cooked, remove from the oven.
    • Pour the mustard sauce over the lobster tails.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices.
  5. Enjoy!
    • Serve hot, ideally in a skillet for an impressive presentation like in your photo.

This recipe should give you a decadent and flavorful lobster dish with a rich, tangy mustard sauce. Perfect for a special dinner! If you need any modifications or additional side dish recommendations, feel free to ask.
