- 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips (or chocolate melting wafers)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother chocolate)
For the Crumble Topping:
- ½ cup crushed graham crackers (or any crunchy cookie)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions:
Step 1: Make the Peanut Butter Balls
- In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, softened butter, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing thoroughly until the mixture forms a soft dough.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the peanut butter balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
Step 2: Prepare the Crumble Topping
- In a small bowl, combine crushed graham crackers (or any crunchy cookie you prefer), melted butter, and brown sugar. Mix until the crumbs are moist and crumbly.
- Set this aside for later use.
Step 3: Dip in Chocolate
- Melt the chocolate chips (with the vegetable shortening if using) in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler. Stir until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
- Take the peanut butter balls out of the freezer. Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, coating it fully.
- Place the chocolate-covered balls back onto the parchment paper.
Step 4: Add the Crumble Topping

- Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle a pinch of the graham cracker crumble on top of each ball to add a crunchy topping.
- Let the chocolate-covered balls set at room temperature or refrigerate them for about 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
