Cheesy Baked Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of your choice of bread dough or pizza dough
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced (optional)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Herbs and spices (such as oregano, basil, or paprika) to taste

- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the dough: Roll out the bread or pizza dough into a rectangle and lay it into a greased baking dish. Let it rise slightly while you prepare the filling.
- Cook the vegetables: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Mix the fillings: In a large bowl, combine the cooked vegetables with the diced chicken, cream cheese, half of the cheddar, mozzarella, and your chosen spices and herbs.
- Assemble the casserole: Spread the filling evenly over the dough in the baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Allow to cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
