1. **Prepare the Dough:**
– In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, grated cheese, cornflour, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, black pepper powder, and salt.
– Mix the ingredients thoroughly until a smooth dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little more flour.

2. **Shape the Balls:**
– Take a small portion of the dough and roll it between your palms to form a smooth ball. The size can vary, but typically they’re about 1 inch in diameter.
– Repeat with the remaining dough to form more balls.

3. **Fry the Cheese Balls:**
– Heat oil in a deep frying pan or wok over medium heat.
– Once the oil is hot (around 350°F or 180°C), carefully drop the cheese balls into the oil, a few at a time, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
– Fry the balls until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
– Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried cheese balls from the oil and drain them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

4. **Serve:**
– Serve the cheese balls hot with ketchup, mayo, or any dipping sauce of your choice.

**Tips:**

– **Cheese Filling:** For an extra cheesy surprise, you can insert a small cube of cheese into the center of each ball before frying.
– **Seasoning:** Feel free to add herbs like parsley, chives, or even chili flakes to the dough for added flavor.
