Cheddar Cheese Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a bit of heat)
• 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 1/4 cups whole milk
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 large egg
• 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
• In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.
3. Combine Wet Ingredients:
• In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and egg until well combined.
4. Mix Together:
• Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
• Fold in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese into the batter.

5. Bake:
• Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Cool and Serve:
• Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
• Brush the top with melted butter while it’s still warm for added flavor and shine.
