Broccoli Cheese Patties

 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Broccoli:
    • Steam the broccoli florets until tender but not mushy, about 4-5 minutes.
    • Once cooled, chop the broccoli into small pieces.
  2. Make the Patty Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, eggs, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
    • Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  3. Form the Patties:
    • Take a handful of the mixture and form it into a patty shape. Repeat this process until all the mixture is used.
  4. Cook the Patties:
    • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Place the patties in the skillet, and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the outside is crispy and golden brown.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve the patties hot, either on their own or with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as ranch dressing or a spicy mayo.
