Bacon-Wrapped Pork Loin Recipe
Ingredients:
- Pork Loin:
- 1 pork loin (about 2-3 pounds)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Bacon:
- Glaze:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Pork:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the pork loin with salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
- Wrap with Bacon:
- Lay the bacon slices on a cutting board, slightly overlapping each other, to form a sheet.
- Place the seasoned pork loin on top of the bacon.
- Wrap the bacon around the pork loin, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
- Prepare the Glaze:
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey or maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
- Roast the Pork:
- Place the bacon-wrapped pork loin in a roasting pan or on a lined baking sheet.
