Marble Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
– 2 1/4 cups (280g) all-purpose flour
– 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
– 1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil
– 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar
– 4 large eggs
– 1 tbsp vanilla extract
– 1 cup (240ml) milk
– 1/4 cup (25g) unsweetened cocoa powder
– 2 tbsp hot water
– Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions:
1. **Preheat Oven**: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch (25cm) Bundt pan or a similar cake pan.
2. **Mix Dry Ingredients**: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. **Cream Butter and Sugar**: In a large bowl, beat the butter, oil, and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4. **Add Dry Ingredients and Milk**: Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients in three parts, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

5. **Prepare Chocolate Batter**: In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder with the hot water until smooth. Transfer 1/3 of the batter into the bowl with the cocoa mixture and stir until well combined.
6. **Create Marble Effect**: Pour half of the vanilla batter into the prepared cake pan. Spoon the chocolate batter over the vanilla batter. Pour the remaining vanilla batter on top. Using a knife or skewer, gently swirl the batters together to create a marbled effect.
