Garlic Bread

– 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread, cut in half lengthwise
– 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1. **Preheat the Oven:**
– Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. **Prepare the Garlic Butter:**
– In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix until well combined.
3. **Spread the Butter:**
– Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread halves.

– If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread for an extra cheesy flavor.
