Sloppy Joe Garlic Bread
A bold twist on classic comfort food – ready in minutes!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 loaf garlic bread (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Slice garlic bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the bread. Top with shredded cheese if using.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with parsley, slice, and serve hot.
