Would anyone here actually eat flavorful chicken broccoli
Ingredients:
10 chicken pieces (5 thighs + 5 thighs) without skin
2 teaspoons white pepper
1 teaspoon chili flakes
2 large onions, roughly chopped
400 g mushrooms, cut into thick slices
2-4 garlic cloves finely chopped
2 large red peppers, cut in half and then thickly sliced
3/4 cup Cremonaise mayonnaise or mayonnaise of your choice Mayonnaise 3 tablespoons jalapeño chutney
2 tablespoons chicken broth powder
Method:
1 . Season the chicken with chili flakes and white pepper, cover with salt and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
2.Heat 2 tablespoons of rapeseed or sunflower oil over high heat and then always fry the side of the chicken portion first. This takes about 3 minutes for both sides. Set the chicken aside, covered.
3. In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium and sauté the onions, mushrooms, peppers and garlic for 5 minutes, then add the chicken back to the vegetables.4. Season with
ground white or black pepper and chicken stock powder. Stir to combine.
5. In a small bowl, mix the cream with the chutney and 3/4 cup water.Pour over the chicken and vegetable mixture.
Simmer over medium-low heat for 30 minutes.
6. After 30 minutes, taste and adjust the seasoning by adding a little salt and a squeeze of lemon juice to bring out all the other delicious flavors.
Now steam the broccoli florets by placing them in a microwave-safe bowl with a pinch of ground black pepper, salt and 1 tablespoon of water.Cover and microwave for 3 to 4 minutes and serve with this chicken dish or as a side dish.
