Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.
Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly, and cook until the sauce thickens.
Off the heat, stir in sharp cheddar cheese, salt and possibly paprika until smooth.
Place half of the mashed potatoes in a baking dish. Pour half the cheese sauce over it.
Add the remaining potatoes and brush with the remaining sauce.
Sprinkle extra cheese on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crisp. reba bike
