  • Garlic cloves (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Herbs: Wash and dry your herbs thoroughly. You can use whole sprigs or roughly chop them for more flavor release.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Place the herbs and optional garlic cloves in a clean bottle or jar. Pour olive oil over the herbs until completely submerged.
  3. Infuse: Seal the container and let it sit in a cool, dark place for 1-2 weeks. The longer it infuses, the stronger the flavor.
  4. Use: Strain the oil through a fine mesh sieve and store in a clean bottle. Use it for dressing salads, drizzling over dishes, or as a dipping oil.

Recipe 2: Herb Butter

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped mixed herbs (such as parsley, chives, and dill)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the softened butter with chopped herbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape: Scoop the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll it into a log shape and twist the ends to seal.
  3. Chill: Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours, or freeze for longer storage.
  4. Serve: Cut into slices and serve on warm bread, steaks, or vegetables.
