Pizza Burger Tower Recipe
Ingredients
- Burger Layers:
- 500g ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Pizza Layers:
- 4 pizza dough pieces (small, 6-inch rounds)
- 200g mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 100g pepperoni slices
- 50g pickled jalapeños (optional)
- 200g pizza sauce
- 1 tbsp oregano
- Assembly:
- Butter (for brushing)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instruction
- Prepare the Burger Patties:
- Mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Divide into two or three equal portions, shaping them into flat, wide burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through. Set aside.
- Prepare Pizza Bases:
- Roll out the pizza dough into 6-inch rounds. Pre-bake them at 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes until slightly firm but not fully cooked.
- Spread a layer of pizza sauce on each round, sprinkle shredded mozzarella, and top with pepperoni slices. Add oregano for extra flavor.
- Layering:
- On a baking tray, start with one pizza round as the base. Place a cooked burger patty on top, followed by jalapeños, more cheese, and another pizza round.
- Repeat this layering process until you’ve built the tower, finishing with a pizza layer topped generously with cheese and pepperoni.
- Bake the Tower:
- Bake the entire assembled tower at 200°C (400°F) for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Finish and Serve:
- Brush the top with melted butter and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
- Slice and serve warm!
