Ooey Gooey Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients:
12 mozzarella cheese sticks (string cheese)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
Vegetable oil for frying
Marinara sauce for dipping
Directions:
Prepare the Mozzarella Sticks:
Unwrap the mozzarella sticks and place them in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from melting too quickly when frying.
Set Up the Breading Station:
Place the flour in one bowl, the beaten eggs in another, and the breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt in a third bowl.
Coat the Mozzarella Sticks:
Dip each mozzarella stick in the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to coat. For extra crispiness, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating one more time.
Fry the Mozzarella Sticks:
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Serve:
Serve the mozzarella sticks hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
