Cheesy Butternut Squash Gratin with Bacon
Ingredients
- 1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and sliced into half-moon shapes
- 4-5 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Gruyère cheese (or a mix)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Olive oil for greasing

Step 1: Prepare the Butternut Squash
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Arrange the butternut squash slices in the baking dish, slightly overlapping them to cover the entire dish.
