Monte Cristo Sandwich RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs.
pinches of salt and pepper.
4 slices of resistant white bread.

2 tablespoons mustard.
2 tablespoons mayonnaise.½ pound thick-cut cooked ham.
½ ounce weight grated Gruyere cheese.
More salt and pepper to taste.
2 tablespoons butter.

powdered sugar, honey, jam (optional for covering)
.INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large, shallow bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper and set aside.
Assemble the sandwiches with mustard, mayonnaise, ham, cheese, salt and pepper and compact slightly.
In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat, then dip each sandwich into the beaten eggs and add to the pan.

Fry until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes per side, done!Simple, easy and cheesy! You can make these in under 15 minutes, making them perfect for breakfast if you’re running late!
