“Golden-Seared Lobster Tails with Citrus Butter Sauce

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 fresh lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

Preparing the Lobster Tails:

  1. Preheat your broiler to high and adjust the oven rack so it is about 8 inches from the heat source.
  2. Prepare the lobster tails: Use kitchen shears to cut down the middle of the back of each lobster tail, stopping at the tail fin. Spread the shell open and gently lift the tail meat, leaving the end attached and laying it over the shell.
  3. Rinse and pat dry the tails with paper towels.

Making the Butter Sauce:

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sautรฉ for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika.

Broiling the Lobster:

  1. Brush each lobster tail generously with the butter sauce.
  2. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  3. Broil the lobster tails for about 10-12 minutes or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned at the edges.
  4. Baste occasionally with the remaining butter sauce during broiling if desired.

Serving:

  1. Garnish with chopped parsley.
  2. Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges on the side.
