**Garlic and Herb Butter Rolls**

– 4 cups all-purpose flour
– 2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
– 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F/45°C)
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 large egg

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 1/4 tsp dried oregano (optional)
Instructions:
1. **Prepare the Dough:**
– In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
– In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Mix until the dough comes together.
– Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
– Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
2. **Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter:**
– In a medium bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Stir until well combined.

3. **Shape the Rolls:**
– After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball.
– Roll out each dough ball into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
– Spread a generous amount of the garlic herb butter over the rolled-out dough.
– Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
– Cut the log into 1-inch pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cut side up.
4. **Second Rise:**
– Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes until they are puffy.
5. **Bake the Rolls:**
– Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
– Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown on top.
