Crispy Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard Sauce

 

Ingredients:

For the Chicken Tenders:

•500 g chicken breasts, cut into strips

•1 cup all-purpose flour

•1 cup breadcrumbs

•1/2 cup cornstarch

•1 tsp garlic powder

•1 tsp onion powder

•1/2 tsp black pepper

•1/2 tsp salt

•Vegetable oil for frying

For the Honey Mustard Sauce:

•3 tbsp mayonnaise

•2 tbsp honey

•1 tbsp mustard (Dijon or regular)

•1/2 tsp garlic powder

•Juice of half a lemon

Instructions:

Preparing the Chicken Tenders:

1.Marinate the Chicken: Season the chicken strips with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let them sit for 15 minutes.

2.Set up Breading Stations:

•Prepare three bowls: one with flour, another with beaten eggs (seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper), and the third with a mixture of breadcrumbs, cornstarch, and paprika.

3.Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken strip in flour, then egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

4.Frying: Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken strips until golden brown and crispy. Place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Preparing the Sauce:

1.In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, honey, mustard, garlic powder, and lemon juice.

2.Stir well until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Serving:

Serve the crispy chicken tenders hot with the honey mustard sauce on the side as a delicious snack or appetizer.
