Ingredients:
3/4 cup raw white rice
2 cups whole milk, divided
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup raw white rice Rice pudding
2 cups whole milk, divided

1 egg, beaten
2/3 cup cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions:
Cook the rice according to package directions until tender. Be careful not to cook it for too long.
Mix 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar and salt with the cooked rice.Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, about 15 to 20 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix the beaten egg with the remaining 1/2 cup milk. Gradually add this to the rice mixture, making sure to stir slowly so that the egg does not scramble.
Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly, to thicken the pudding.
