Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops, bone-in or boneless
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  1. Prep the Pork Chops:
    • Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Cook the Pork Chops:
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the pork chops and sear them until golden brown on each side and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side (depending on thickness). Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • Reduce the heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet.

    • Pour this garlic butter mixture over the cooked pork chops.
  4. Add Cheese:
    • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the pork chops.
    • You can place the skillet under the broiler for a minute or two to melt the cheese until bubbly and golden, if your skillet is oven-safe.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
