Cajun Garlic Shrimp
If you are looking for a delicious seafood dish that is easy to prepare and has a twist, look no further than Cajun Garlic Shrimp. This tasty and flavorful twist on traditional garlic shrimp is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS:
12 raw shrimps (as many as you like, I like to have a lot in my pasta)
1 portion of pasta (preferably linguine)
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tbsp. Butter
1/2 c. cream
grated parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp.Basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Flour (for thickening)
Cajun seasoning
1/4 c. Parsley
White Wine (not pictured)
Olive Oil (not pictured)
Making Cajun Shrimp
Heat a pot over medium heat. Add butter, a splash of olive oil and a splash of white wine and bring to the boil.
Add the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes. Add
shrimp.Next, season the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning. Be generous (according to your taste)!
When the shrimp are pink on one side, turn them over, cook for another minute and remove from the pan, leaving the liquid.
Add cream, basil, parsley, salt and pepper.
Bring to the boil and add a little flour until the sauce thickens.Reduce heat to medium-low and add shrimp again.
Stir the shrimp, brush with sauce and serve over the noodles. Topping with parmesan cheese,
