INGREDIENTS
- 1 (16 oz) bag pretzels
- ⅔ cup butter
- 1 ¼ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 (8 oz) bag heather chips
- ¼ cup roasted peanuts, finely chopped
PREPARATION
1.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, heat the brown sugar, butter and corn syrup until boiling. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
3.Stir in baking powder and vanilla extract.
- Place the pretzels in a large bowl, pour the sauce over them and stir until evenly coated. Add the heather pieces.
5.Place the pretzels on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.
