Burger with Onion Sauce
Ingredients
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 Egg
1/3 cup Breadcrumbs

1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Onion powder
1 minced garlic clove
1 tsp.Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp. Oil
1 1/2 cup Onion, thinly sliced 2 tbsp. All-purpose flour
1 cup beef broth
1/2 tsp. Salt

In a large bowl, whisk together ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into thick flat cakes.Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Fry the burgers and onions in the oil until golden brown.
Place the beef patties on a plate and keep warm.
Sprinkle onions and fat in the pan with flour.
Add the flour with a fork, scraping up any bits of meat from the bottom while stirring.Gradually add the beef broth.

Season with seasoning salt.
Simmer and stir over medium heat for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Reduce the heat to low, return the burgers to the sauce, cover and simmer for another 15 minutes.
Serve with a large bowl of mashed potatoes
