– 2 cups milk
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– Salt and pepper, to taste
– **For the Topping:**
– 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese (for topping)
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
**Instructions:**
1. **Prepare the Beef Layer:**
– Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
– In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
– Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, and cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
– Stir in the diced tomatoes (if using), Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until the flavors meld together. Set aside.
