– 1 pre-made pie crust
– 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

**Additional Ingredients:**
– 4 large eggs
– 1 cup milk or half-and-half
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)

**Instructions:**

1. **Prepare the Pie Crust:**
– Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
– Roll out the pre-made pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim the edges as needed.
– Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork to prevent it from puffing up during baking.
– Pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes to ensure it doesn’t get soggy later. Remove from the oven and set aside.

2. **Prepare the Filling:**
– In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk (or half-and-half), salt, black pepper, and ground nutmeg (if using).
– Add the steamed broccoli florets to the pie crust, spreading them out evenly.
– Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the broccoli.

– Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and cheese, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
