Beef and Barley Soup

 

 Ingredients:

 

Water 9-10 cups

Onion, half cup, chopped

Pearl barley 1 cup

Bay leaf, large 1

Roasted, boneless 1 pound Cut into small pieces

Carrots, sliced ​​1 one and a half cups

Sliced ​​celery 1.5 cups

Sliced ​​mushrooms 8 ounces

Beef base 2 tablespoons You can also use  beef stock here, but beef base works great and I only need to use  2 tablespoons for this recipe

 DIRECTIONS:

Take a skillet and cook the meat the way you like it.

When the meat is ready, put it in a casserole dish. Add  carrots, water, bay leaf, onion, celery, mushrooms and meat base.

Cook over high heat and then add the barley. Add salt and pepper to  taste and cook  until the meat and vegetables are  to your liking.Remove the bay leaf and serve on a plate with fish crackers, some hot sauce, soy sauce and lemon.
