2. **Prepare the Chocolate Coating:**
– In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil.
– Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
– Let the chocolate mixture cool slightly, but it should still be liquid.
3. **Coat the Ice Cream Bars:**
– Once the ice cream bars are fully frozen, remove them from the molds.
– Dip each bar into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
– Quickly sprinkle the chopped nuts on the chocolate before it sets.
4. **Freeze Again:**
– Place the coated bars on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
– Put the baking sheet back in the freezer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set.
5. **Enjoy:**
– Once the chocolate is firm, your homemade ice cream bars are ready to be enjoyed!
Tips:
– If you want to add extra flavor to your ice cream, you can mix in some crushed cookies, fruit, or chocolate chips into the ice cream base before freezing.
– You can experiment with different types of chocolate (milk, dark, white) for the coating.
