Ingredients:

– **2 cups beef broth**

Instructions:
1. **Make the hamburger patties:**
– In a bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, 1 egg, salt, and pepper.
– Mix until well combined and shape into 2-4 patties, depending on your preferred size.
– Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
– Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
2. **Prepare the gravy:**
– In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
– Stir in the flour to create a roux and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
– Gradually whisk in the beef broth and soy sauce, bringing the mixture to a boil.
– Reduce the heat and simmer until the gravy thickens, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. **Cook the eggs:**
– In a separate pan, fry the eggs to your liking (sunny side up is traditional for Loco Moco).
4. **Assemble the Loco Moco:**
– Place a serving of cooked white rice on each plate.
– Top the rice with a hamburger patty.
– Pour the brown gravy generously over the patty and rice.
– Place a fried egg on top of the patty.
– Garnish with chopped green onions.
