1. **Prepare the Chicken:**

2. **Prepare the Coating:**
– In another large bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
– Remove the chicken from the buttermilk mixture, letting any excess drip off. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, pressing the coating onto the chicken to ensure it sticks well. Set aside on a wire rack.

3. **Fry the Chicken:**
– In a large, heavy-bottomed pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
– Carefully add the chicken pieces to the hot oil, a few at a time, making sure not to overcrowd the pot.
– Fry the chicken for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
– Remove the chicken from the oil and place it on a wire rack to drain any excess oil.

4. **Prepare the Dipping Sauce:**
– In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
– Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. **Serve:**
– Arrange the crispy fried chicken on a serving platter.
– Drizzle with some of the creamy dipping sauce and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish.
– Serve the remaining dipping sauce on the side.
