Slow-Cooked Corn on the Cob

– 4-6 ears of corn, husked
– 1/2 cup of butter, sliced into pads
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite seasoning
1. **Prepare the Corn:** Husk the corn and remove all the silk. Place the corn in a slow cooker.
2. **Season the Corn:** Place the butter pads on top of the corn. Season with salt, pepper, and any other spices you like.
3. **Slow Cook:** Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-6 hours.
4. **Serve:** Carefully remove the corn from the slow cooker. The butter should be melted and the corn should be tender and flavorful.
