“Ultimate Loaded Ranch Burgers”
Ingredients:
- Ground Beef Patties:
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Assembly:
- 4 sesame seed burger buns
- 4-8 slices cheddar cheese (depending on how cheesy you like it)
- Cooked bacon strips (2-3 strips per burger)
- Optional toppings: sliced onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato slices
- Condiments: mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup
Instructions:
- Prepare Patties:
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the ranch seasoning packet and a pinch of salt and pepper. Avoid over-mixing to keep the patties tender.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts and form into thin patties. This recipe goes for a double patty setup, so thinner patties work well.
- Cook Patties:
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired doneness. Place a slice of cheddar on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt the cheese.
- Prepare the Buns:
- Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a pan to add a bit of crunch.
- Assemble the Burgers:
- Spread your choice of condiments on the bottom bun.
- Stack the first cheesy patty, add a layer of bacon, then another cheesy patty, and more bacon.
- Add any other desired toppings like onions, pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes.
- Top with the upper half of the bun.
- Serve:
- Serve hot with a side of fries, chips, or a salad.
